I told the Lord if I was ever to be in ministry I would want Him to set me up so I never have to beg for money. So, here I am at the crossroads of running out of funding for our every day needs. We don t have insurance, Melody needs a car, we have just enough for one more house payment, and so on and so on. We had been tempted after selling my house in Florida to  invest in a supposedly  Christian Kingdom program that returned 10% of your money every month. But, I knew this was a PONZI scheme and would not enter in or let my father-in-law enter it. Subsequently some other people we know had signed up and now have lost their money. We did get to warn a small few but was not able to help all. Please be in prayer for those who were hoodwinked into this scam. We thank the Lord for discernment in this matter and that we too did not lose our hard earned investment. But we are looking forward to the Lord providing miraculously. We only ask everyone pray for us to be in His will at the right time and the right place. I know when you get to your bottom, it is really God s top of opening new doors of revenue and opportunity. We were led to go to  our building this last Sunday after our gathering to pray it in again. As we met there I was talking about how we had poured oil over the sidewalks and prayed many times. A gentleman who just happened to be walking by stopped and asked us if we would pray for him. He said he heard me mention  oil and just had to ask if we could pray. He used to be a very intense Christian with position in a local church, a family, a great job, etc. Now he is on the streets addicted to crack cocaine. He is at least 40 years old. As we prayed for him the power of God came upon him for deliverance. He was shaking and quaking all over. We could have stayed with him for hours. As we prayed several other people walked by mocking and cursing us as we prayed over him. If we owned the building we could have taken him in and let him soak in the anointing for as long as he needed. That s what we used to do there daily. We really need our own place. It really has to be that building downtown where the need is the greatest. Please join us in prayer for God to break open the windows of heaven to provide more than we can contain or hope for. Thoughts from Melody The Testimony of Jesus Ernie and I have been teaching classes on the Prophetic, and Intercessory Prayer on Monday nights at The Encouraging Cup  a local Christian coffee house. We have been blessed to have approximately 30 people show up from area churches representing different denominations. In the process, we have realized that there is such a hunger in God s people to want to hear His voice and have His daily witness. We have also realized that with hundreds of churches in the area, this subject matter has been sorely under taught. God says in His word that His sheep hear his voice ( John 10: 1- 17) and that prophecy is the  testimony of Jesus ( Revelation 19:10). Sadly, many people have believed that God s word to us today is just in the scriptures. This limitation keeps so many from an intimate, alive fellowship with God. Many have been hearing from the Lord for years, and have just not understood the numerous ways that God has been speaking to us.On the way to our first night class session, I saw a license plate in front of me that said  MAKING IT. And then, a few miles down the road, the car in front of us sported a license plate that said  WARRIORS. I heard God speak to me immediately and say,  Many of my warriors are just making it. But, I knew He wanted to change that status by bringing the knowledge to His people needed to make them OVERCOMING VICTORIOUS WARRIORS. So, week by week, as we ve been able to share our lives together regarding intercession and the prophetic, God is pouring in revelation and knowledge to these wonderful warriors.
