Whenever the Kingdom of God is being brought to bear in an area, do you think the devil and all his hoards are just going to lay down and roll over? Have you ever been part of casting a demon out of a person? I have. They don’t come out just because you are singing, praying in tongues, and being nice to people. They have to be forced out or else they will stay exactly where they are and become even more of a menace that they ever were because you have disturbed them. Remember when Jesus cast out the devil from the young man. The devil tore at the boy as he was FORCED to leave by the COMMAND of Jesus, the Son of God! How much more do you think all the situations in your life, in your church, in this city, and especially in this region are going to line up just nicely and perfectly because you want it to and you sing and pray for it. What happens to all those other people out there who do not agree with you or do not even know you exist? The devils that own them simply laugh and become more violent and strategically set against you because you are trying to evict them from their home! Now, we are going to pray. We are going to worship. But moreover we are going to begin to prophesy to the enemy and declare the angelic replacements God is sending to begin to move in and take over. Your personal life, your family life, your job, your business, your church life, and all that surrounds it, WILL go through HELL to reach peace, comfort, and safety of the Kingdom of God. Well, since he was here our transmission broke ($3000), our lawnmower broke ($300), and we’re broke($30,000 debt). Please pray that God will send us the funds to recover from our battle losses. I used to wonder why a friend of ours in South Carolina continually had so many economic woes in his ministry. Now that we’re really pressing in past our ministry “comfort zone” I see why. You cannot invade territory and kick out devils without it costing you equipment, provision, and even people. The enemy is trying to pull off the very prayer warriors we need to stabilize our front and put them in places where there isn’t as much “heat” of the battle. Please pray not only for provision, but for troops! Invasion takes feet on the ground, and prayers in the air! A Word from Melody At The Gate I heard the Lord say two weeks ago, “You are standing and facing the enemy at the gate. Do not turn back.” Hearing those words made me question the Lord, “How do you want us to face our enemy at the gate and overcome?” Admittedly, I was feeling very weary when I heard this revelation from Him, but I knew we were at a pivotal moment in laying claim to His inheritance here in Asheville and it was time to remain positioned as He had placed us here. In God’s amazing way, He confirmed His word to me by placing Barbara Yoder’s book, “The Breaker Anointing” in my hands. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been interceding and believing for major kingdom breakthroughs. It clearly defines the opposition one will face before breaking through the gates we must overcome. Yoder states, “There is a new company of believers arising; they understand and see the battle at the gates. This is a company that, though assailed on every side by discouraging and despairing words and experiences from the past, will arise and press into the word and pray. They will do this until the prophetic wind and word of God release, which will overturn death, despair and hopelessness. That revelatory word from God will propel them forward, causing them to overcome at every narrow place. It will release strategy and direction for the future.” Shortly after receiving this word, God brought Bishop Bill Hamon to bless us and minister to Soteria in a private meeting. He brought a prophetic wind with him that felt like a cyclone in the Spirit and we know we will never be the same individually or corporately. He imparted vision and direction for us that is very strategic for kingdom breakthrough in downtown Asheville. Sent as an Apostle to us, Bishop Hamon gave an impartation beyond earthly measure. We know for certain that God is building His church here and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it! TERRITORY IS TORN AWAY FROM THOSE WHO WILL NOT RELINQUISH IT
