Text Box: ….con’t – powerful bible teaching from Bill Morford ( author of “The Power New Testament”), a great shepherding sermon from Pastor Tim Porter, a heavy prophetic visitation from Prophet Akida Sabubu, and a wonderful realization of the Evangelist from Dan Webb and his family. Truly the Lord has sent us and will keep providing us with what we see is to come next year,  a true five fold ministry team in place and operating together. Watch what the Lord will do next year in this area.                  Our year has been filled with much joy over many that have received training and release in the prophetic gift. The balanced teaching and training has been accepted and embraced in the area as other leaders see it is possible to allow all the gifts to work in the body as initially designed. We look forward to the fulfillment of this work next year and a release of another outpouring as in Azusa St in 1906. After reading the book by Bartleman ( an intercessor and minister at Azusa St) I see that there were many trials and tribulations as well as planning, order, and a core group God called together in order for the outpouring to happen. We must be ready for what God is bringing to WNC in 2006. We must be assigned our place, we must pray for the release of the Holy Ghost, and we must step out in Faith to begin to release the Spirit of repentance, salvation, deliverance, and infilling so that we can raise up more laborers, disciples, to go out even further into the world and preach the gospel, good news, of the Kingdom of God! That’s what this next year is all about. That’s what is all wrapped up in what happened this year and is about to be unwrapped for next year. Our present from the Lord is all about Him. It is His PRESENCE that we desire to go along with our “gifts” so that they have the meaning and impact they are supposed to have. Text Box: A Word from Melody We want to wish everyone a blessed, healthy and happy Holiday Season!  We have had an enormously full year here in Asheville beginning with the grand opening of our site on 89 Patton Avenue in January. We have been thankful to have such anointed ministers and guests come to impart to us, as well as classes, parties, fellowships, a picnic and more. It has been a blessing to me to look at the year in review and see all that God has provided.  Some of the highlights have been: - Bishop Bill Hamon came for an evening of ministry – HALLELUJAH -30 days in a row of intercession took place for the city of Asheville – now we have a Christian mayor-elect and Eckankar cult moved out! -The Hour of Power prayer met here with Christian business leaders 

Text Box: – we all went o hear Zig Ziglar together! - We had three days of Bele Chere activities including Christian magic shows, balloon artists, and live music from B. Wise and Sergio!!! A girl from Chicago was saved during the events! -Akida Sabubu from South Africa came and delivered an awesome word -Selwyn Stevens from New Zealand taught about Freemasonry, the occult, cults and the New Age Reverend Bill Morford from South Carolina spoke about Hebrew roots and ministered the Father’s heart prophetically to everyone at our church! -Pastor Tim Porter

Text Box: of East Flat Rock United Methodist Church spoke about his relationship with the Holy Spirit A meeting of local pastors took place here for four weeks in March for the purpose of seeking the Lord in prayer for the region Mid year, our little band of initial members prayed for Soteria and finances – breakthrough came very quickly and miraculously– thanks for your prayers Joe, Mary, Cathy, Karen and Diane! This ministry has always required team work and faith! Ernie started a weekly radio show with his black brother, John Hayes – the Hays and Hayes show was birthed! Close friends of ours from Orlando came up at various times of the year to minister and support the work here in Asheville – thanks Millie, Rick, Dan, Jennifer, Dennis, Holly, Bob & Peggy!  We love you all!  We’ve started prayer walking for the city, prophetic and altar ministry teams; held a flags workshop, held prayer meetings at various locations and much more. . . and sold a lot of Starbucks coffee!!! In the midst of all the activity and classes, Soteria has hosted people from many different congregations and ministries. The Lord has allowed us to be a cross- denominational ministry.  We have been so thrilled to see the relationships and connections that have formed through all these activities in bringing the body of Christ together! Our lives have changed immensely through this season.  It has been a stretch out of our comfort zone and by all means, we have made many mistakes in the process. But through it, we have gained a family of believers locally and worldwide who we consider precious in the Lord! We anticipate the coming year with great expectation!  Bless all of you for your friendship love and support in 2005.  We could not do it without each of you!
