March 15 I suddenly had the unction to go to Nashville, TN for a conference called “Sound of Heaven” put on by Jim Goll and the Encounters Network. Immediately I was given money and a place to stay so I knew this was God making it possible and wanting me to attend. Why? I wasn’t sure until afterwards, but there was a Starbuck’s right down the street from where I was staying and another Starbuck’s a block away from the conference. So, being covered on both ends to and from the conference was another sign God was putting me there for a reason! You know I’m just kidding about the Starbuck’s being a sign, but these things are funny sometimes. At the conference, Chuck Pierce, a well-known national Prophetic figure, spoke about practically every thing Melody and I had heard from the Lord concerning Prophecies given over Asheville. A forthcoming visitation of God was scheduled to begin April 15, my birthday, the day I am writing this letter. Chuck also spoke of repeating cycles breaking this year and this was a year of release and grace, and a year of alignment. But moreover, it was a year where God was going to begin a visitation. While there I received a definitive WORD from the Lord while at this conference about Asheville and upon my return was instructed by God to gather the troops here on two Sunday nights to show the videos about what Chuck was teaching and prophesying and to deliver the WORDS to Asheville the Lord has given me. There were three parts to the WORD and I was to give the first two parts the first night and the third part the second time we met. Those nights were March 27 and April 10. Ray & Ramey Hughes, Brian Whalen, along with Chris Dupre and Don Potter, not to mention the Rivera's, were contributors to worship during this conference. I had brought back the DVD’s from Chuck Pierce’s teaching, along with worship from the Selah Band and Chris Dupre. The first night we worshipped to Selah the second night was Chris Dupre. It was awesome. I had to order three dozen more copies of those DVD’s because people enjoyed them and wanted their own copies. The Lord spoke to us the first night and said Asheville was to “release the youth” and to “worship” as the main focus of the church here. This would bring in the Glory of God like never before as long as we did the third WORD given on the next scheduled Sunday night, April 10. That night the Lord said the church of Asheville needs to REPENT! Now, most of us think with our carnal and condemnation minded brain that repentance is due to some awful sin. Well, in this case it partially is and partially isn’t. Asheville, the Lord says, will be the first place in the nation to begin to corporately repent of the “sins” of the modern Church. The Lord is going to bring a Spirit of REPENTANCE, songs of REPENTANCE, prayers of REPENTANCE, asking forgiveness, and open meetings of REPENTANCE to Asheville so that we can begin to reverse the apathy, the tradition, the ways of western theology, and begin to worship the Lord, release the youth, and allow the Glory of God to fall on this region causing an outpouring to effect the nation. REPENTANCE also means turning from “our” ways to HIS ways. We have to bow down before Him, see ourselves in our own ways, repent, and turn to do His ways with all or our heart. WORD FOR THE MONTH REPENT! Isa 42:18-25 "Oh, how deaf and blind you are toward me! Why won't you listen? Why do you refuse to see? 19 Who in all the world is as blind as my own people, my servant? Who is as deaf as my messengers? Who is as blind as my chosen people, the servant of the Lord? 20 You see and understand what is right but refuse to act on it. You hear, but you don't really listen." 21 The Lord has magnified his law and made it truly glorious. Through it he had planned to show the world that he is righteous. 22 But what a sight his people are, for they have been robbed, enslaved, imprisoned, and trapped. They are fair game for all and have no one to protect them. 23 Will not even one of you apply these lessons from the past and see the ruin that awaits you? 24 Who allowed Israel to be robbed and hurt? Was it not the Lord? It was the Lord whom we sinned against, for the people would not go where he sent them, nor would they obey his law. 25 That is why he poured out such fury on them and destroyed them in battle. They were set on fire and burned, but they still refused to understand……………………….REPENT! Says the LORD your GOD!
