….con’t – heart as their desire to leave home would dwindle under the spindle of love yarn that wove a pattern of recognition and acceptance into their lives that could never be taken from them. What would it be like if we wove current holiday recognition of every celebrated sacrificial quality example of people for this country into four seasonal weeks of celebration for all of them in conjunction with the real reason for any season? Can you imagine the ease and comfort of knowing you only need to push really hard to birth something once every 11 weeks? Break that down to a few short two and three week segments and you’ve practically managed to bring a balance of justice to your life by execution of a thief called worry, despair, and turmoil from long hard arduous labors.
Could a nation become a true place of peace simply because there is a way to rest on your laurels purposefully? Could such a wide diversity of people and personalities actually agree upon the fact that immune systems become stronger and patience paves the way for progress simply due to the process of elimination of too much to do? Or, would we again enwrap ourselves with a competitive atmosphere of outdoing or outdone? Is it possible to please one another more often than pressure one another? For a few predetermined times during the year can we practice a season of Love that eventually would become a way of life? We only need a little more practice. We only need time to try. We only need a season to be seasoned.
I am not too sure we could pass the test of consistent conscientiousness. How could it be that a nation so diverse could muster the ability to catch up with each other’s constant demands and surpass our own needs to help others? Would it be too much of a strain on our brain to become a nation of givers that purposefully set aside time to permanently learn to love each other in a way that would teach the world what a really great nation can be?

PASSION REPORT!
Melody and I are beginning to sense the urge to move into the next level of influence and exhortation of God’s heart for His people. We are asking the Lord to give us the majority of December away from ministry at Soteria to seek His face. We sense He is moving people into position around us to begin to take over the role we’re now filling. Our desire is to graduate people past our capacity and see them flourish in their gifts and callings. We desire to see their lights shine brighter as we release the next generation into the world being equipped for the work of the ministry. We ask for your patience as God is only allowing us to see the very beginning of what He desires in the destiny of our lives. We can envision so much in His heart He wants accomplished in this world. Help us know. PRAY FOR US !!
A Word from Melody

“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.” Isa 9:2
In prayer a number of weeks back, this scripture came to me as we were praying corporately for light to overtake the darkness in the lives of some local folks who are embedded in witchcraft. The Bible is full of references to light. This is not a surprise in lieu of the fact that Jesus is the light of the world. John 8:12 says, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” A friend and fellow intercessor wisely pointed out that darkness is merely the absence of light.
We are called as light-bearers, because we have the light of life, to bring the illumination, reflection and reality of Christ into the dark places which otherwise would not know Christ. In this time of history where the presence of darkness seems daunting, we are continually asking the Lord to direct our steps and put us where we need to be to bring His light. This may be the prayer closet or out in the street, but regardless we each have a responsibility. This seems even more pertinent coming out of the Halloween season here in Asheville where the enemy has been openly exalted and worshipped through various pagan rituals and celebrations. During this time, we have been corporately fasting and additionally believing for many of those “that dwell in the land SOTERIA® is a Love based Church with IRS tax exempt status. We very much appreciate your support and pledge to apply all gifts to where God leads us in our mission. Please send your Love Gift to:

of the shadow of death” to see a great light – the light of Christ Jesus.
We at Soteria took the offensive this year and asked God how to be salt and light in the midst of this activity. He directed us in prayer and we stand believing that He has heard our petitions and will be faithful to answer. We are asking for the redemption of souls – especially those that have had great influence on the lives of many here for the enemy. We are standing believing that God can redeem even the greatest persecutors of the Gospel. We call upon Him – the same God who transformed Saul to Paul and used him as a great mouthpiece for the kingdom of God. We are asking and believing that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine on them that have been blinded! 2Cr 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
