The Empowerment Center at 89 Patton Avenue will still be used regularly for training/ resources. There is plenty of parking and the church is easily accessible off of I-26. We are tentatively scheduled to meet there every Sunday from May through June, except on May 21—location of worship TBA — and on May 28 due to the Spring Picnic in Mars Hill from 11 AM—6 PM. Please note these important dates and location changes in your calendar and call Soteria for directions. More Training . . . Crown Financial Ministry Training will be offered in a 10 week small group environment starting in June, 2006. Please contact Pastor Melody Hays if you are interested in this excellent training for handling your money God’s way! Space is limited. Dates TBA based upon interested individuals. Our newsletter will now be sent quarterly instead of monthly due to time limitations and financial constraints. Please check our website regularly to keep abreast of any changes as we expand to the use of the new space at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish. We have just concluded a week of prayer at Soteria to seek the Lord’s direction and provision for this new season upon us and to pray for the 11 people from Soteria going to Los Angeles to the Azusa Street Centennial Celebration on April 24—30 (a gathering of 60,000—100,000 saints from over 100 nations!). The Lord put it on our hearts that we need to be increasing our intercessions and “bear up one another’s burdens” in prayer. The word says, “Confess to one another therefore your faults and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The earnest prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available ( dynamic in its working)” James 5: 16. It is the opportune time to see God’s tremendous power made available! Please join us in praying for one another on a regular, earnest basis.
