End or Beginning? As many of you know this has been a very challenging year. We have come to the point of almost being shut down. Many people had left the ministry, stopped support altogether, and some cut back support even though we’ve had tougher times and needed more funding than ever! Living a Godly life simply means facing challenges that do not make sense to the carnal mind. I’ve seen this year how people react to these type of challenges. Some people simply run like the dickens when things don’t look as good as they want. Some people decide they don’t want to be a part of what God has called them to be simply because it has become uncomfortable for them or there was some incident that they didn’t like and turned away. I’ve learned this year that some people had expectations of this ministry that weren’t met, so they too left. The incredible thing is I never knew they had those expectations. How can you minister to someone’s expectations unless you know what they are? Besides, if you tried to meet everyone’s expectations you would end up schizophrenic! It can’t be done. I also met up with many challenges concerning money. It seems many people think they “own” their money and use it to expect some return for giving. They decide to give based on the reaction or response from this ministry. How absurd! God owns everything and He expects us to manage HIS money the way He tells us in His Word. It is very simple. To keep protection on 100% of His money we HAVE to give 10% back to His work immediately without any expectation or recourse, period. That is not seed, it’s called TITHE. That is insurance the rest of His money that flows through our hands is protected. Next, He expects us to sow into His Kingdom by giving offerings. That means we cannot expect a harvest unless we sow seed with offerings, time, and other resources we have been given. EVERYTHING we do is a seed for the future that will bear fruit, good and bad. That’s the attitude we have to have in order to PROSPER! Continued……….over As Soteria grows and matures as a ministry we continually shift our structure to fit the need and vision for the current work God desires. We are obedient to hear God’s voice and do what we’re told according to His will and His way. Soteria, is a progressive and continual work just as each person as individuals are a constant and progressive work of Christ being matured and loosed in our lives. Soteria Ministries has been established to identify, equip, and release people with their gifts, callings, and talents. We have already had a huge effect on many lives and pray we continue to do this even if the effect doesn’t always and immediately seem to be the most productive at the time! We understand God uses everything for the good for those who are called. We are called. Those whom God brings across our paths are called. Together we are all called to bring the Kingdom of God and His will to Earth as it is in Heaven! We have seen that during these times of recognition, training, and release, some will know they are called to be a part of our immediate family and some will come for a season, then released to their ministry destiny. Some will be called as a part of a directional team or facilitating board, or partner with us even though they are not an everyday part of the work. Some will help from a distance, or want to be a part of the ministry to help see it continue to do the work God has called us to do while being a member of another Church family or ministry elsewhere. This is why we’re now offering three different levels of participation in Soteria Ministries; Soteria Member Soteria Partner Soteria Friend Quite simply, Members are those who’s desire is to be an integral part of Soteria. Partners are those people, businesses, and other ministries that want to help Soteria on a regular basis. Friends are those who occasionally help Soteria from a distance and desire to assist in making Soteria a success. Please check our website or request detailed information regarding either of these participation levels. I’ll be glad to explain how each opportunity works for you. We need your support!
